YAYI

YAYI is a fashion design project inspired by the absence of the sea and crafted with meticulous detail to its tailoring techniques. Made in Puerto Rico and presented visually in collaborations with other artists and crafters. YAYI experiments with quality finishes in ready-to-wear garments. The idea is for the wearer to own timeless (in design and quality) garments that can be passed down generations; pushing away the promotion of consumerism thus keeping clothes away from landfills.
